On Saturday June 1st from 3-5 pm, NeighborWorks Green Bay, residents and volunteers will come together to kick-off National NeighborWorks Week by sponsoring a Community Advocacy Event with partner organizations and resources. This event will seek out stories and information from residents and community members regarding housing to help establish NeighborWorks Green Bay’s advocacy agenda and initiatives. Several partner organizations will be in attendance sharing their resources and information, including Urban Cultural Arts, ICS, NEW Community Clinic, ADRC, We All Rise, The Salvation Army, The Fridge at Joannes Park, and more! Swing by the Community Advocacy Event for a variety of free food options, raffle prizes, activities, and to talk about housing in Northeast Wisconsin!

| Various options are available to volunteer. Starting from 9am to 10:30am to help set up, with most volunteers needed from 2-6pm for various roles such as greeting guests, preparing and serving food, collecting giveaway information along with setting up and tearing down. Full time frames from 2-6pm or partial time frames (2 hours between 2-6pm) are acceptable. |
