We All Rise, the Rotary Club of Green Bay, and Union Church are working together to join the nation in honoring Dr. King by organizing a day filled with service opportunities on Saturday, January 13th. This celebration through service will provide opportunities designed to bring together teams of intergenerational, intercultural, community members working together to improve our community while building personal relationships. This event is designed to complement the long standing Brown County Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration.
Our planning team is coordinating projects in following categories:

Elder Home Improvement: Cleaning, organizing, caulking, minor repairs indoors for elderly, low income living within the City of Green Bay.

Service Organization Improvement: Painting, cleaning, envelope stuffing, organizing etc. for non-profit organizations (e.g., churches, schools, shelters, food pantries, etc.) within the City of Green Bay.

Stocking the Shelves: Identify service organizations, within the City of Green Bay, that need to stock their shelves; projects would include collecting supplies, delivering them, and restocking the shelves.
On Saturday, January 13 we are dividing the work into two shifts: 8:30 am-noon and 1 pm-4:30 pm. To participate, we ask that you fill out our Volunteer Sign up Form. Space is limited so please sign up quickly. After signing up, we ask that you hold the time on your calendar and plan to participate. You will receive a confirmation email from us in early January.
