The Zoo is looking for assistance to reinforce a fence in the moose yard. This requires hammering rebar posts about two feet into the ground along a stretch of about 150 feet of fence. Posts go in about every 2 to 4 feet.
Volunteers must wear pants/jeans, long sleeves, garden/work gloves, as well as have boots, preferably those that can keep you dry on wet ground. The terrain is uneven and there are tall grasses in some places.
The zoo will provide the rebar and post pounders, as well as bottled waters and snacks for all participants.
