Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available):
- Tuesday - Friday 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m or 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Will work with your schedule
- We can offer two hours shifts. 10 to Noon, Noon to 2, 2 to 4 and 4 to 6.
Cashier Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ring up sales on register
- Assist with answering customer & donor questions as needed
- Fill out necessary paperwork for sold tags
- Assist with pricing and sorting smaller items
- Ability to explain ReStore policies and procedures
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Age 18+
- Will accept younger if they have work cashier experience.
- Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills
- Register experience preferred, but not required
Training & Resources Provided:
- 1/2 hour orientation
- 3 hour training with ReStore staff member or experienced volunteer
- To become comfortable with register operations, it is suggested to volunteer 1-4 times per month
- Staff support is always available to assist with questions
