Reading Coaches for Kids
Got an hour during the school day? It takes only an hour a week to make a difference to a child! Reading Coaches for Kids is a volunteer tutoring program designed to increase students’ reading abilities and academic success. The program takes place during the school day over the course of the school year and focuses on kindergarten through fifth grade. Click HERE to learn more.
AmeriCorps Retired/Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
RSVP provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for persons age 55+. There are no requirements regarding education, income or experience for you to become an RSVP volunteer. We assist you in finding volunteer assignments that match your interests and abilities. Continuous follow-up, recognition, and referral are also provided. As an RSVP volunteer, you will be eligible for program benefits that include transportation reimbursement, insurance coverage, and an annual recognition event. Click HERE to learn more.
Workplace Volunteer Council
The Workplace Volunteer Council is a local resource for encouraging, educating, and connecting businesses that support employee volunteer programs as a business strategy. Being a member adds company value to the community and yields greater public recognition.
