But we also use plenty of 21st century machinery behind the scenes to help maintain the park and we need your help to keep our modern machinery running! JOB SUMMARY As a team member of Heritage Hill State Historical Park, you will help build a positive working environment as well as inspire, transform and build our community through exceptional cultural and historic experiences. Under the general supervision of the Park’s (Restoration/ Maintenance Manager), (Equipment Mechanic)provides principal support and assures seamless functioning of the (Restoration/Maintenance Department). PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Preventive maintenance and repairs of the park’s golf carts both gasoline and electric. Preventive maintenance and repairs of the park’s small equipment-including weed trimmers, chainsaws, riding lawn mowers. Medium size equipment preventative maintenance-including oil, air, fluid filter changes on a RAM 3500 truck, Genie Ariel lift, Bobcat skid steer, John Deere tractor. Some basic rust and paint repairs required with the preventive maintenance duties. Moderate Knowledge of diesel engines, Hydraulics, brake repairs and powertrains a plus however not required. Purpose: Assist the Restoration/Maintenance department with the preventative maintenance and repairs to the park’s power equipment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a stocked toolbox and hand tools in good working order. Perform preventative equipment maintenance. Troubleshoot and Diagnose equipment problems. Determine needed parts for equipment and perform repairs. Under the general supervision of the Park’s (Restoration/ Maintenance Manager), (Equipment Mechanic)provides principal support and assures seamless functioning of the (Restoration/Maintenance Department). PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Preventive maintenance and repairs of the park’s golf carts both gasoline and electric. Preventive maintenance and repairs of the park’s small equipment-including weed trimmers, chainsaws, riding lawn mowers. Medium size equipment preventative maintenance-including oil, air, fluid filter changes on a RAM 3500 truck, Genie Ariel lift, Bobcat skid steer, John Deere tractor. Some basic rust and paint repairs required with the preventive maintenance duties. Moderate Knowledge of diesel engines, Hydraulics, brake repairs and powertrains a plus however not required. Purpose: Assist the Restoration/Maintenance department with the preventative maintenance and repairs to the park’s power equipment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a stocked toolbox and hand tools in good working order. Perform preventative equipment maintenance. Troubleshoot and Diagnose equipment problems. Determine needed parts for equipment and perform repairs.
