Description

We need your help caring for the Seymour Park Food Forest!

The Food Forest is a free, public source of food which is only possible through the help of generous volunteers. Not sure if you have the skills? Don’t worry, garden mentor Dillon Weist from the NWTC Sustainable Agriculture program will be guiding volunteers on how to best care for the plants and maintain the food forest. No gardening experience is required.

You can take any gardening tips you learn home to your own growing spaces, alongside any fresh food you harvest. Bring a container for your harvest!

Register here.

This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather and bring gardening gloves!

About: Grassroots in the Garden is a series of FREE community workshops open to everyone. You'll get to learn gardening skills from a mentor and get hands-on practice with them by caring for the plants of the Seymour Park Food Forest.
