Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half. That’s why we’re rallying volunteers to Sound the Alarm in Green Bay. Experience a rewarding day connecting with other volunteers and the families you’ll help. Since 2014, we’ve made more than 1 million homes safer nationwide.
On Saturday, April 13, the Red Cross will be installing FREE smoke alarms in the city of Green Bay. To make this event a success, we need community members to help install. Install teams are made up of one Red Cross volunteer and two or three community volunteers. No prior experience is necessary; we'll provide all the training you’ll need. Event volunteers would provide their own transportation for the day.
