Exceptional Equestrians

Mission: To improve the lives of people of all abilities through the healing power of horses.

Exceptional Equestrians is a non-profit organization providing horseback therapies to children, teens, and adults with disabilities from throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Our team of experienced therapists, staff, volunteers, and therapy horses is led by a certified American Hippotherapy Association hippotherapy clinical specialist with more than 20 years pediatric experience. Through the dedication of our therapists, volunteers, and generous donors, Exceptional Equestrians is one of the most comprehensive programs of its kind.

Exceptional Equestrians provides hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, adaptive riding, and equine-assisted learning programs to positively impact cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being. Founded in 1999, Exceptional Equestrians today has multiple horses and a state-of-the-art indoor facility where we provide a variety of year-round services for all ages with certified therapists. Because Exceptional Equestrians is a non-profit organization, we depend on our volunteers, and we consider them to be critical to the success of our program.
